BLK IN AMERICA/WHITE HOST!

Real Brother here.

I’m going to start out by saying that I simply don’t like the message it sends to all of America that Black in America is hosted by a White Hispanic. Not a Black Co-host or a Key Correspondent in the field but the White Hispanic Soladad O’Brien. While White America scratches its head as to why Black people hate themselves their Race and Culture and think of Whites as Superior, CNN does a show on Black problems that amplifies Black Self-hatred and the belief that Whites are Superior in sending the message that Blacks would be too incompetent or  inferior to the point to where we couldn’t host a show about ourselves. Bryant Gumble’s not doing anything  he’s not the darkest Brother but he could have done it. John Singleton, Spike Lee, Samual L. Jackson. Also, if they dont’ have a Black Host I can only guess whether or not the Producers and or Writers of the show are Black [is the camera man Black, anyone but the people who clean up after the shoot]?

I’m not against CNN doing a story in order to increase their viewership they have to pull themselves out of the hole they dug for themselves by bending over backwards trying to be fair and balanced when people want the truth or their truth as they see it and nothing else. No, my gripe is don’t do a show about us that insults us. I would like for CNN to tell the truth that 450 years of Slavery, Oppression,Discrimination and Racism based on the genetic, social, intellectual and political inferiority of the Black Race and the superiority of the White Race has affected all of us. Blacks by hating and killing one another and trying to breed ourselves out of existence and from many Whites who hate a Black President because they have bought into the myth of White superiority just as much as Blacks have. The fact is that CNN doesn’t know this and if they did they sure in the hell wouldn’t  broach  it. They can’t even discuss White Supremacy and Black Self-hatred because they would never even think to ask someone who would know about it.

I think we have to speak out, OK I have to speak out because everyone else is afraid to. They will lose their jobs or they will no longer be invited to the club if they were to ever tell the truth or even bring up the issue of Black Self-hatred or White Supremacy.  These shows like Black in America always start out with the most noble of intentions but they turn into a dog and pony show about how great things are for Blacks or how White Blacks can be and have become in order to make Whites feel better about Blacks and to fool Blacks into thinking that White Racists love us and accept us to the extent that we are “like them”.  If we don’t stop this nonsense we will never get to the point of a post racial society. This is not about race relations this is about the Black Race falling behind. This is about the belief held by 90% of Blacks in the US [and current Census Data confirms] who hate their Black Race and Culture and think of Whites as Superior. We can’t solve the problem by not even discussing it and we’ll certainly not solve the problem by encouraging more Black Self-hatred and this dumb notion that White Hispanics are superior. Let’s discuss.

  1. WOW @ “These shows like Black in America always start out with the most noble of intentions but they turn into a dog and pony show about how great things are for Blacks or how White Blacks can be and have become in order to make Whites feel better about Blacks and to fool Blacks into thinking that White Racists love us and accept us to the extent that we are “like them.” Powerful statement.

True. The only thing I disagree with is the part that they “start” with noble intentions. I don’t think the intentions are noble at all. I think they start with the exact intention that ends up in the results of their spotlights on Blacks: Black women relearn that they are “unlovable” and Black men relearn a whole bunch of other stereotypes. I think that is the true intention because such stories always have high ratings. Whether people agree with the aforementioned beliefs or not, people still seem to watch. I don’t. I boycott all stories that bash us in the name of “cultural exploration” and haven’t watched one like it in a while.
